Paleo/AIP Biscuits

Recipe images 2-10-19-25

I’m currently doing a specialized elimination diet called the Autoimmune protocol. I found this recipe for Paelo Biscuts and I had to try it out! I made a few slight adjustments on my end, and these ended up flash-freezing perfectly! I knew I didn’t want to cut carbs completely even though I was doing AIP. So I was sure to add in some starchy veggies, sweet potatoes and then on occasion these beauties!

Edited: I removed the recipe per the original author’s request. The link is here to go to her recipe.  http://heatherhollandaise.com/2016/06/paleo-biscuits-aip-friendly.html

I subbed in lard for the shortening, and flash froze mine!

To Flash Freeze: Let them cool, then while on the parchment paper, place pan in the freezer for two hours. After two hours you can transfer to a bag or freezer container. To reheat, place in the microwave for 30-40 seconds.
